Dynasty Tactics, a relative newcomer in the Koei lineup, is a strategy game with similarities to Ogre Battle and Final Fantasy Tactics based off the Romance of the Three Kingdoms novel. In Dynasty Tactics you go from one chapter to another, attempting to hire new officers into your cause betw een turns, and fight battles to achieve your objective (which is usually to unify China).

Dynasty Tactics Series

Dynasty Tactics is a military strategy series from Koei. Unlike Koei’s Romance of the Three Kingdoms series, freeform games that focuses on battle, governing, and politics, Dynasty Tactics’ primary concern is military confrontation and conquest, all laid out along a predefined storyline. If you like strategy simulations, you should consider trying this series.
