Biography

Ji Shao (aka Xi Shao) was the son of Ji Kang, one of the Seven Sages of the Bamboo Grove. Twenty years after the death of his father he was nominated by Shan Tao, another of the Seven Sages of the Bamboo Grove, to official post as a means of livelihood out of memory of his friendship with Ji Kang.
