Dilu was a horse belonging to the bandit Zhang Wu, who rebelled in southern Jing along with Chen Sun. During a battle with Liu Bei, who had been sent to pacify their rebellion, Zhang Wu was run through by Zhao Yun while riding Dilu, and the horse was taken into Liu Bei’s custody. Bei persented the horse to Liu Biao after returning to the capital of Jingzhou.
