Biography

Sanguo Yanyi

Cai Xun guarded the south road to stop Liu Bei escaping in Cai Mao’s plot but Liu Bei fled west and over the river. Cai Xun later served Wei when Liu Cong surrendered and was at Chi Bi when Wei attacked Wu’s navy. When Gan Ning issued a challenged, Cai Xun responded but was shot as he approached.
