Biography
Sent by his brother Bao Xin to attack Hua Xiong before Sun Jian could get there and achieve great merit. Going secretly along a by-road with three thousand men, as soon as he reached the pass, Bao Zhong offered battle. Hua Xiong responded by charging with five hundred armoured horseman, crying “Flee not, rebel!”
Bao Zhong grew afraid and turned back but Hua Xiong cut Bao Zhong down with his sword, most of his men captured and Bao Zhong’s head sent to Dong Zhuo.
