Did you know you can chat online with members of Kongming’s Archives, Scholars of Shen Zhou (aka. SoSZ, or discussion forum), Simulated RTK (aka. SimRTK, the online Three Kingdoms role-playing game)? Through IRC, a chat system which functions similarly to programs like AOL Instant Messenger, but built around group chat and sharing, you can join in discussion with us too!
We have two chat rooms—‘channels’ in IRC terminology—which you can join. You can be online in one or both at the same time. Kongming’s Archives and Scholars of Shen Zhou use the #sosz chat room (channel). Simulated RTK uses the #simrtk channel. Both are hosted on irc.lunarnet.org. Would you like to join us? See below for help connecting.
Discuss the novel, Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Chinese history, current affairs, politics, and whatever else you like with viewers of our website and members of our forum, Scholars of Shen Zhou. This is a new channel! Stop by and visit when you’re free or keep the window open while we gather new members. In time this can become a thriving chat room for the topics you enjoy.
irc.lunarnet.org#soszDiscuss the Simulated RTK role-playing game, related topics, and whatever nonsense happens to come up (trust me—there’s plenty) with the Simulated RTK players and staff. This is an mature established (Happy, Ranbir?) well-populated IRC channel.
